I am trying to verify that Joseph Meacham, son of Samuel and Phoebe, is my line. He married Abigail ?. They had two sons and two daughters; Franklin Joseph, Edmund, Eliza, and Mary, my ggggrandmother. They lived in McKean Co. Pa. Marie

I wasn't sure about this J. Meacham. My records show that he died in Ill. My Joseph Meacham died in Pa. in 1872. Abigail died in 1873. I have been to their graves. According to that Joseph was born 12 Nov 1780. Abigail was born 17 July 1806. Could be he was married before, but I have no record of that. Their first child, Mary E. was born near Albany NY in the wagon train that was making its way to McKean and Potter Counties Pa. Is there another brother to Samuel who may have had a son Joseph about that time??? Thank you, Marie

Marie,
I don't find your information in the book. None of the Josephs m. Abigail in Samuel's line. At least if they did they aren't listed. Your Joseph's children aren't listed either so it could be a side line. This has left out a lot of them. Good Luck and God Bless.

I have a copy of the 1951 version in my possession, right now, . . but the copy that is most coveted is the one printed in 1967, which a good cousin of mine has by the name of Jim Pitchford. You can contact him at pitchjim@aol.com, or grab me at troutdsd@aol.com.

Catch you soon.

David,
Unless someone has a copy they don't want anymore, I don't believe you could find the 1967 copy. I know the ones I had were a later edition. Mine is the 1967 though. My cousin has the earlier one. Why is this one so coveted?
God Bless.
