Your mention of Thomas F McNevin in a post here caught my eye. I am researching the Quinlivan family and McNevin is one of the family branches. My great-grandmother's sister Bridget (Belinda) Quinlivan married Bernard McNevin. Thomas F McNevin was one of their sons. Thomas married a woman named Harriet according to family information.

Belinda was from Ireland and Bernard was from Luzerne County, PA. They married in NJ but spent most of their lives on Long Island where Bernard worked for the RR.

The names Thomas, Miles and James seem to repeat through the McNevin's generations. I don't have much information on the McNevin family but would be happy to share with family.
