Hello,
I`m searching for the descendants of Robert J. {b. Feb., 04, 1865, d. Dec.13, 1949}, and wife Catherine E.{NICHOLS} MCNEILL {b. ?,?, 1877, d. Jan.19, 1929} of Philadelphia Pa.. Robert was the son of William, {b. Phila.} and Sarah {HASTINGS} MCNEILL {b. Scotland}. Robert worked for the Pennsylvania Reading railroad that ran out of Philly, he had lost one of his arms {the left one, I believe}. The names of their sons that I know of are Robert, Frank, Thomas, Charles and William. The names of their daughters that I know of are Anna, Catherine, Marie, and Helen. Robert was married to Hattie {maiden name unknown} they had three sons Robert, Edward, and Frances. Thomas was married to Mary {maiden name unknown}. They had a house in Atlantic City next to my Grandfathers on Reed Alley. Anna was married to a Gerald Ward. Catherine married James Quinn and I believe they also had a house in Atlantic City on Main Street. Helen married Dave Anderson. He was the Captain of the Woodland String Band for many years. Marie married an O'KEEFE. William {Ducky} was a Chief of detectives in Philly. My Grandfather was Charles {Windy} {b. Sept.09, 1897, d.July, 1966} who married Anna M. McGrath of Grampian Pa.. Their sons names are Charles, Robert, James {my father}, Richard {Riddie}, and William Wallace {Wally}. Their daughters names are BettyJane and Ann. Ann and Richard are fraternal twins. If you are related to any of these people I would like to hear from you. Please leave a reply here, or you can also find me on the Clan MacNeil Chat Page at The Gathering of the Clans at http://www.tartans.com/
