I am looking to see how William McNeese is related to Uriah McNees of Butler PA he was my Great-Great Grandfather, his daughter Susanna Loretta is my Great Grandmother, her son John DeWitt Shelatree and his daughter Phyllis is my mother. I know William fought with the 2nd Florida Company I at Gettysburg and was captured later and was sent to Point Lookout MD POW Camp and later transferred to Elmira POW Camp and died 14 March 1865. My son is applying to the Sons of the Confederecy for membership.
