George Allen McNeese and Willie Alice Hood are the parents of Carl Wynn McNeese who married Tera Rachel Austin. Papa Carl and Mama Tera (as I remember them) were my great-grandparents. If I recall correctly, George and Willie only had the one son, Carl, before Willie died. After she died George married Ida Bell Phillips and they did have a number of children. Willie Alice Hood is the daughter of Daniel Hood, Confederate War Veteran, who is buried in the Pettusville Cemetery in Pettusville, AL. (Please note that Allen is spelled with "2 l's" and "en" not "an". My father's first name is also Allen).
