Richard Joseph "Rick" McLaughlin, Jr., age 52
of Waterford,PA.
moved to his final resting place on Wednesday October 6, 2010 from the loving arms of his family. Rick was a devoted husband, loving father, and a lifetime loyal friend. He was employed at Van DeKamp Foods for most of his life. Rick was passionate about golf, cooking, and above all, being a father. Four days prior to his passing, he orchestrated a lasting memory for close friends and family through a party he hosted to celebrate his life, and his son's 6th Birthday. He is survived by his wife Desireé Watts McLaughlin and son "Trey," Richard J. McLaughlin, III; grandfather Doyle Stuck and his wife Eleanor of Valrico, Florida, his mother Shirley McLaughlin of Fairview, father Richard McLaughlin and his wife Roberta of Millcreek; a brother Michael of Erie; sisters: Mary McLaughlin and her husband Perry Colosimo of Pittsburgh, Joan and Christine of Fairview, Ellen of Lake City, his closest cousin Dennis Stuck and his wife Donalee of Fairview, and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
