The MCKEMIE One Name Study is a site devoted to the research and preservation of the genealogical history of the surname McKEMIE. It is dedicated to supporting anyone interested in their McKEMIE (and all spelling variants, not limited to the following: M'KIMMIE, M'KYMMIE, MACCAMIE, MACCAMY, MACKEMIE, MACKEMMIE, MACKIMMIE, MACKIMMEY, MAKAMIE, MAKEMIE, MAKKYMMIE, MAKKYMME,,MCKAMEY, MCKAMIE, MCKAMY, MCKEAMY, MCKEMEY, MCKEMY, MAKKYMMY, MCAMY, MCCAMEY, MCCAMISH, MCCAMY, MCKAIMY) family history. The site acts as a bridge between the various families, both stateside and worldwide and is intended to be a central repository for research data, providing access for researchers to assorted biographies, birth records, burial details, census records, church records, court records, death records, land records, landmarks, family stories, surname history/origins, immigration records, marriage records, wills, military service records, obituaries, photographs, and Bible records currently totalling approximately 1,313 entries.

In addition, we have started a "Researcher's Registry" in which people can list their particular MCK/MCC interests.
