I am looking to find more information about a
Robert McKelvey 1743-1766. He had a son named Richard McKelvey 1777-1853. Richard married Rebecca Tilton 1786-1860. They had a son William McKelvey 1808-1901. I have some information on a story that William & his brothers Sylvester & Jonathan sailed from Scotland. They were shipwrecked on the coast of New Jersey. One settled in Toms River, another in New York. My Great Great Grandfather is William and he settled in Silverton.

Im looking for more information on this story. I'm also looking for infomation the the brothers father Richard and his grandfather Robert.. Where were they born, did they every come to the US, etc.
