I have searched for years for a bro. of David, father of founder of McKeesport. I believe my Samuel McK, who died 1780 (widow Margaret, later mard. John Veasy) in Westmorland Co. Hempfield Twp., was a cousin of David's sons, who all lived as neighbors. Allegheny Co. was then part of Westmor. I believe it was David and James who brought
a petition in Greensburg Orphan's Court for support for 6 minor children. Samuel was a brother of Capt. Robert, rode in Rev. and fought indians together. In a petition to the Gov., they and neighbors request help fighting indians. Saml., Jr., later
bought his mother's farm.
I would appreciate a look-up on Samuel McKee, or brother Robt's. parents.
