Samuel and Ruth McKallip/McKillip

Looking for my ancestors, Samuel and Ruth McKallip/McKillip. They were the parents of my gr gr grandmother, Jane A. McKallip Baxter (1816-1891) who was born in Noblestown, PA according to her death certificate. Recently I found a old document among family papers showing that Samuel, a resident of Washington Co., PA, gave his son in law, James Baxter, a power of attorney to sell his property in Ohio. This document was dated in late 1850. Unfortunately, I can find no person in the 1850 Washington Co., PA census that seems to be Samuel. Another old family paper gives Ruth McKallips death as 1853. However, I cannot find her in the 1850 census either.

Does anyone have any suggestion on where I can turn next? Thanks!

Hi all,
This weekend I added to the library at GenealogyBuff.com http://www.genealogybuff.com the 1927 yearbook "Tatler" from Huntington High School, Huntington, Cabell Co. The faculty and student portraits are scanned, along with autographs, including the surname MCKALIP. A few of the group photos are scanned as well.
