John Estelle McGuffin was married to my Aunt Della Mae Cook in Covington, Virgnia. There are a lot of photos and documents I'm sure his family decendants would love to have. I just don't know where his family decendents are located. There are pictures of his relatives in FL that they used to visit. I believe this is his brother Ralph McGuffin, Sarasota, Fl from an obit I have of the Father.

Johnny along with his brother in laws (Cooks) built the Airport in Covington in the mid 1940s. Johnny was killed in an airplane accident in May of 1962. The airport was sold and now is a residenial sub development.

Johnny owned and operated the McGuffin Equipment Co on Lexington Street, Covington, VA.

His father, Robert G. McGuffin, Hot Springs, VA died at 82 on July 31st in 1963. This would make his birth date abt 1881.
Survivors listed are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Mildred Livesay of Franklin, Mrs. Mary Moor Floger of Charlottesville, one sone Ralph McGuffin of Sarasota, FL, one sister, Mrs Clara Corbett, Monterey VA and 10 grandchildren.
