Hello - I am reading some of the posts regarding James McGrane that died in a mining accident. Ann (widow) moved to New Diggings, WI. James and Ann are my third great grandparents through son James (Bridget Ryan), John (Catherine Field) and Homer (Anna Schwartz). My mother is Homer and Anna's daughter Ruth.

I live in Beloit, Wisconsin which is in Rock County. I have a photo of James and Bridget's headstone from the Shullsburg cemetery posted on my family tree.

Would love to hear from any relatives with any information and willing to share what I have.
