I am looking for any information on Benjamin "Frank" Franklin McFarland (McFarlin, McFarlan). He is my great great grandfather. This is the only information I can find. He was born around 1850 in Zaneszille, Ohio married Eliza Jane Reed (Reid) on July 28, 1878 in Coles County, Illinois and dies on May 5, 1938 in Newton, IL. They say he is buried at the Vanderhoof cemetery. However there is no evidence. I have obtained his marriage license in hopes of finding his parents names, but no luck. He and Eliza had several children, Francis May, Minnie Bell, Jessie Rae, Myrtle, William, Frank (my great grandfather), Nellie, John, James, Bertha and Emma.
