Looking for information on John McDOW born abt 1800 in North Carolina. Possibly the father of:
Nathan A McDOW born abt 1821 AL
Clarisa (McDOW?) CARPENTER born abt 1826 TN
James Preston McDOW born abt 1829 TN

All these McDOWs are living next door to each other in the Erath Co., Texas census of 1860.
