Hello to Monica. This reply is long overdue but I'm finally getting unpacked and going through piles of family tree paper. I have unearthed the following:
1. A 1956 newspaper article from the Waco, TX Tribune-Herald - interview with a local couple about the legend of the ghosts.
2. Copy of the 1979 book by Mary Joe Clendenin titled "The Ghost of the McDow Hole" Based on stories told by Joe Fitzgerald
