Jane did indeed marry George Washington McDow, according to their marriage certificate dated 13 Dec 1882 in Belle Plain, Callahan, Texas. They reportedly divorced in 1889 or she died died after their 3 children were born: James Hymenus, Ilia Edward and Rosa Valverdie. There were stories about the mental health of Jane Lacy but nothing was ever confirmed.
