If my Leonard Samuel McCune b. April 16, 1820, is related to your Samuel McCune, it is before the information I now have on the McCune family is dated. My earliest dates is the 1820 birthdate of Leonard Samuel. I have him with a brother S. G. McCune. I do not know what the initials stand for. Let me know if there is any connection that you can determine. thank you.

I cannot determine from the information you have given me if there is a family relationship. Should you learn more about your family, and want to share it with me, I will try to determine if we are related. My McCunes are from western PA. Mostly Indiana county. Thank you.

I have a picture of a lot of young men on it who were in Company I--picture taken at Greta, Pa. I had taken it to the Amory here in Greensburg, Pa and they told methat my father was in the picture, but I can't figure out which one he is. I remember my dad talking about this unit and some of his memories. that's all I know.

Did your grandfather die Feb. 12, 1975 and was his wife's name Zelma. I show she died March 25, 1975. Were the children Samuel Everett, James Eugene, William Carl and Shirley Ann? If so, contact me at budnjeanh@aol.com

Hey Sunny is my Uncle !! There was Sunny,Kenny.Billie,Lester,Walter, the other two had passed at young ages, the sisters names are Carrie,Annabell,Teddie,Irene,Imigiene,Sally and I think Mary that had passed at a early age. I realy don't know much about the back ground because my father Walter(Gayner) never talked about anything in his growing up. He did talk about a Log Cabin that he was raised in that is a Historical sight there now I use to have a picture about it but I don't know where it is now. I had ask Uncle Billie questions once but he didn't want to tell my family very much information. If you ask Uncle Sunny about Debbie and DeeDee (Gaynersdaughters) he will remember. We knew Sunny, and Kenny more than the rest. If you have any information please let me know, I have been trying to find out information on my fathers side for awhile.

I have some scetchy information and a few photos that may be about the McCune Family you listed. Lillie (Husher)McCune was the mother of Lester, Teddie, Carrie, Sally, Irene, and twins John and Sarah (born in 1916 according to the information in my album). Lillie was a sister of my Grandmother Amanda (Husher) Fowler. Carrie married Sandy Fowler and had three children; Patty Lou, Alexander (Butchie) and ? Fowler. If any of this fits and you have any information about the Husher clan, please let me know. I am researching William Henry Husher and his family.
