Richard O'Dell "Dick" McCullough, age 83
of Summit Twp.,pa
passed away peacefully Saturday, November 20, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Rimersburg, Pa. on June 22, 1927 the son of the late William and Laura Bosworth McCullough. Dick retired from Smith Meter in 1990 where he served as Union Steward for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, going to auctions and on bus excursions. Dick also enjoyed fishing, hunting but especially enjoyed his grandchildren most. Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor A. McCullough who passed away on June 2, 2009. Survivors include his loving children, Constance Daws and her husband Beryl of Saegertown, Pa., William T. McCullough of Summit Twp., and Ronald McCullough of Erie; six grandchildren, Laura, Bradley, Brian, Erika, Carly and Jennifer; three great-grandchildren, Travis, Taylor and Kara; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 West 10th Street on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment Waterford Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Erie Crawford County Veterans Burial Detail.
