Looking for information on Robert McCracken family. He was married to Nancy McClure. Who are his siblings, children, etc.? This ROBERT is buried in Madison County, Arkansas, his gravestone reads: "East TENN Militia, War of 1812." My great great grandfather was James McCracken, married to Mary Ann Campbell from Tenn. They lived in Pope County, Arkansas. I am trying to make a connection to the McCracken's in Arkansas. Thank you.
Margaret

Have you tried the McCracken DNA Page? We have also hit a brick wall with our McCrackens. One census says they were from Ak and another says Tx. I have Francis M, William R. and James R McCracken

The McCracken Y-DNA Project has been under way for two and a half years and can be found at <http://fly.hiwaay.net/~woliver/McCracken_YDNA.html>.We had over 20 McCracken men tested to date.

Enjoy

It is McCracken Ydna home page. This is a good place to watch. I hope you have a male McCracken that will do a dna test for you. It hasn't helped us yet, but one of these days one will be there.
