I have been told there was a Marriage between a McCracken Male that married into the Cherokee tribe and moved to Texas afterward forming his own McCracken line. He claimed no relation to any other McCracken, If you have information about this, please share. I think I am related to this individual. My Great Gandfather may have even been this man. His name was William Issac McCracken, born 1865 at unknown location. He passed 10 Oct. 1922, Ausin, Travis County, Texas.
