I am seeking the descendents of SMITH MCCRACKEN born in Antrim, Northern Ireland circa 1838 and Lavina Taggett born 1849 in Redruth Devon, England.

They had 8 children, all born in Dalesford, Victoria, Australia that include:

Mary Ann born 1870 - married William Morris.
Eliza Jane born 1872 - married John Williamson.
John SMITH born 1878 - married Mapel or Maple Tankard
Albert Francis born 1884 - married Edith Ellen Hocking
Alexander born 1886 - married Mildred McQueen.

Hi I am researching McCracken's in South Australia
John Hugh Mccracken born abt 1843 Northern Ireland. Apparently he was one of abt 16 children, and the family came from Scotland to Ireland or vice versa. He was a sailor and ending up settling on Eyre Peninsula.
I have all the info from his arrival but cant seem to go beyond that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The McCracken's that I am researching descend from John McCracken and Mary Ann Faulkner. To my knowledge they had 2 sons and 1 daughter. Smith born 1833, Thomas born 1834 and Margaret born 1835 in Rasharkin, Antrim, Ireland.

I don't believe there is a connection.
