I am looking for information on (my gg grandfather) William Wallace McCrackin who was born in 4/11/1804 and died in Fairfield Iowa in 5/7/1857. I know he and his wife came to Iowa from Pa. but I do not know if he was born there (she was).
I would appreciate any help in tracing him backwards. I have a great deal of info forward for anyone that might be his descendant.
