Does anyone know the history of Joseph Washington McCoy's (b 1766 in Rockingham Co., VA) family? I was wondering if his McCoys were from Scotland and if anyone knows who his earliest ancestor or at least his immigrant ancestor might be. I haven't been able to go further back than his father, John.
