Doty Springs in Attala co. MS. He married
Georgianna Ray, 11-11-1878 in Attala co.
His parents are Lafayette McCool and Elizabeth
Ellender Gray. Lafayette served in Co. B 41st
AL Infantry (CSA).

Hello, my name is Lucinda E. Graham Maddera. My parents are James R. Graham and Patsy L. McCool. I've been trying to do a little research on my mothers side, because my husband and I are planning a trip to Ireland soon and I'd like to look up family history things. I was wondering if you may know of or have any information that could help me out. My grandfather's name is Edison McCool. He lives in Louisville MS. I've actually been to Doty Springs several times. Gene McCool

I'm researching a John Paul McCool b. 1843 AL. married a Skelton lived in MS. they had a daughter 8 Dec 1864 in Jacksonville(?) MS named Tommli Eliza McCool. Would you have any information on this family.

My family is from Ethel and I was doing some work on my line. I believe our lines came out of Alabama. The senior of the line was a Judge, got into politics and ultimately ran for Governor.

Big wad of McCools mentioned in Alabama around 1850-1885.
