Barbara A. Parker, 62, of Chillicothe,Ohio, died 6:10 am, Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.

She was born March 18, 1951 in Ross County, Ohio to Melvin and June Hastings McCloy.

On June 29, 1984 she married Willard Parker, who died October 8, 1992.

Survivors include her mother; two sisters, Nancy Garrett, Chillicothe and Becky (Keith) Sheets, Lancaster; a brother, Jim (Cheryl) McCloy, Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Michael McCloy.

Mrs. Parker retired from the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center as an Administrator on Duty.
She loved animals.Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
