My gg grandfather, Garrett W. "Doctor G." Sampson married Elizabeth McClellan(d) in Scott Co., VA on October 27, 1870. I am looking for information on Elizabeth's lineage. One possibility is that she is the daughter of Samuel McClellan(d) and Rebecca Lane. Samuel McClellan(d)'s line traces back to Andrew McClelland born in Scotland 1709. I do not know if this is in fact the Elizabeth that Doctor G. married.
