Davis Funeral services for 83 year old Clastine
Davis of
Winfield,
Iowa was held on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 1:30 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home,
Columbus Junction,
Iowa with the Rev. Darryl
Erickson officiating. Music was provided by Marilyn
Schlutz and Sharon
Veach.
Clastine died on Sunday, Oct. 29 at the Colonial
Manor Care Center where she had been a resident for several years. There was no visitation.
Burial was in the
Columbus City Cemetery,
Columbus City,
Iowa. Casket bearers were grandsons Scott
Bieri, David
Bieri, Tony
Davis, and Todd
Davis.
A memorial has been established at the funeral home.
Clastine
McBee was born April 12, 1912 in Braymer,
Missouri to Charles and Ida Kelly
McBee. She married William “Ted”
Davis May 2, 1932 in Chillicothe,
Missouri. Ted preceded Clastine in death December 23, 1983.
Clastine loved to quilt and had been a homemaker all her life in the Winfield-Columbus Community.
Clastine is survived by her children, Mrs. Jack (Wilma)
Bieri, Letts; Bill
Davis,
Winfield and Jerry
Davis,
Washington,
Illinois. There are 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Donald
McBee, Dawn,
Missouri, and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy
Cain,
Winfield and Mrs. Frances
DeAngelo, Long
Beach,
California.
Clastine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
