My Great Grandpa was Monzell Thompson, son of Asa Thompson and Nancy McBee etc. etc. Your posts have been very informative and so appreciated. I would love to have any info you have to share on Nancy and Asa or their folks. Do any of you know a Nancy that was married to a Richard Jefferson that was in business w. Monzell Thompson (his wife was Wafie Allen who later married a Wilhelm)- I believe they built houses for the mining companies in Barbour County. Would love to hear from you.
