Hello....I think I can help some. We are probably related some 10 generations back....but nothing in recent history. My mom's mom was a McAllister. her family was from Maine via Ireland.

So anyway , I have the full ancestry subscription and would be happy to help out. So far it looks as though Vida's maiden name was Brooks and husband was Leolar Orum McAllister. If you already belong to ancestry. let me know and I'll stop looking thre.
