CONFEDERATE SOLDIER DIES

Jackson, Tenn., April 2- T.J. McAbee, an old
Confederate soldier and a prominent citizen,
died at his home Friday night, after several
weeks' illness.

Mr McAbee was born in Spartanburg, S.C., and
went through the civil war as a Confederate
soldier. He was buried today.
