Hi there. After two years of very intense research, I am in the process of writing a book on the life of Pierre Mayeux (the one who came on Le Profond in 1720). Anyway, you mentioned finding records in the French Superior Council which refer to him as being from Maintenay. Do you happen to have a copy of that record that you could share?
