In the 1861 and 1871 census William and Alice Mawson have their granddaughter living with them. She was Alice Hobson born Adwick on Dearne abt 1854. Has anyone come across a marriage of one of the Mawsons to a Hobson? I can only think that it would be Elizabeth or Alice as the others are 'accounted for'. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
