Hello John,
I am new to genealogy and have found the Maurath family through my great grandmother's side. She was Johanna Maurath (1862-1939) Married to Johann Klotz; they migrated from Russia to Canada in 1889. Her parents were Franz Maurath (b. 1839 in Josefstal, Russia) and Barbara Fetsch (no info on her but assume she was from Russia as well). Franz was the son of Phillip Maurath (b. 1814 in Josefstal, Russia) and Regina (last name unknown). Phillip was the son of Michael Maurath born in Alsace-Lorrain region of France, date unknown.

Any information you can provide would be much appreciated!!
