Good-luck! They liked to use the same names and tended to live in the same areas and move to new areas enmasse. I would suggest you look at some of the World Connect family trees. Vary the spelling of the last names. Judy Detty, the originator of this thread, is a cousin. Our family descends from the James Massengale/Massengill that was born in 1716 to his son, one of the many Matthews.
