All of these Massengale's are brothers and sisters and are children of Mathew Massengale Sr.. They were all married in Jefferson County, Iowa. (Demsee is Dempsey).

Mathew Massengale Sr. died in Maryville, Nodaway County, Missouri I think in 1861. There is probate recorders in the probate office in Maryville, Missouri ( Nodaway County) he didn't have a will and the estate wasn't settled until August of 1883. But the first dates that we saw in the papers were 1861 and 1862. My sister and I are looking for information to help us with our Randall line we have a Phebe Randall that married Washington one of Mathew's sons and Abagail Randall who married William Massengale a grandson of Mathew though his son Mathew Jr.. Here is the list of Mathew Massengale Sr.'s children that was in the probate recorders.

9. James Massengale living in Nodaway Co., Missouri.

10. Washington Massengale died in 1871 or 1872.

11. Jesse Massengale died in 1864 in Atchison County, Missouri.

In the records there are also some of his children's children's names. I am posting this hoping it helps someone we know what it is like to look and look that is what we are doing with our Randall line.
