This sounds like the Asa and Emeline I am hunting. Do you know any of the children of Asa and Emeline so we can compare? Did you ever find any one knowing who Asa and Emeline's parents were? I tried to email you and tell you but to no luck. Plus you said your sister has a picture of Emeline and her children but it is badly faded. Did you ever get it? I've been to Asa and Emeline's old homeplace in the Summersville area many times as a child. But have never met either of them (I'm 50)

My grandfather is their son Tom, who married Lola Anderson.

Hi! I remember Tom faintly and even have a picture of him in his last years, among other pictures, all belonging to my great-grandmother, his sister Bessie. I remember him having dark black hair even though he must have been well into his 70s, at least, when I met him a couple of times when I was a kid. Which should tell you that I am now in my forties, by the way. My ever-changing email is now catlady1412@sbcglobal.net.
