Hi, I also have ancestors named Marron from Carrickmacross, Co. Monoghan. At least two of the girls emigrated to NZ where they married and raised families. One, Margaret (married to James Gallen) returned to Co.Donegal, Ireland where she died in 1901. The other, Bridget, married Bryan Callaghan and remained in NZ.

Co. Monoghan, by the way, is in the Republic of Ireland.
