Does anyone know of a Fr. Marren/Marron from Philadelphia related to the Higgins family of Ireland? He was a priest in Philadelphia in the mid-1800s. My great-great grandmother Mary Higgins came to Philadelphia at about the age of 12 and lived in the rectory with him. He was her uncle. She was the oldest of her siblings and she received her education while living with her uncle. She later went back to Ireland then returned to the U.S. ending up in Pittsburgh and marrying John Johnson (of the McShane/Johnsons of PA). She died in Pittsburgh in Dec. 1936 at about the age of 85.
