Hello My name is JoAnn and I live in Oklhoma City. My grandparents were Mary Omer Marler. They lived most of their lives in Hobart Oklahoma, where I still have a Uncle and Aunt that lives there. My grandmother was a wonderful woman. She passed away in 1992. My grandfather was also a wonderful man and I miss them very very much. My mother was born Evelyn Maxine Marler. She was born in 1925 and has 2 bothers and 2 sisters. Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Mickey still live in Hobart. My aunt Nelda lives in Clinton. I also have a Uncle is Louisana. I loved my grandmother with all my heart, she was and still is the most important person in my live. I will always remember her smile when I walked into the room. She was funny and always in a good mood. She was kind and very loving! She made the BEST chicken and dumplings in the world. I miss the "Marler" Breakfast alot. My grandmother didn't know how to fix just one thing, she made a feast everytime she cooked a meal. If I could live one day over, I know it would be the day I sat down on the floor between my grandpa grandma and listen to them tell me about how they met and their 1st date. When they got married. I only wished to God that I have had a video camera. But I remember in my heart. I wasn't born a Marler, but I am A Marler through and through.
