I am looking for any information on Selah Markham and his wife Lucinda Luce Markham. Died I believe in the 1840's in Minnesota, New York or Illinois. They had 15 children. I will update this with more information so please keep checking. Thank You!

Their daughter Cynthia married my ancestor George Ring on June 9, 1878 in Clearwater, Minnesota. Cynthia died 3/4/1881 in Clearlake, MN. They had 2 children I know of Mabel Ina (b. 2/20/1879) and Albert (b.10/19/1880) both Clear Lake, MN. Listing from the Sherburne Co., Historical Society. Their is also another marriage between George Ring and Rosetta Markham on July 13, 1882 in Buffalo, Minnesota.

Selah and Lucinda are listed in the Census' for:
1840 Mchenry Co,. ILL,
1850 Coral, Mchenry Co., ILL
1860 Cannon Falls Village, Goodhue Co., Minnesota
1870 Clearwater, Wright Co., Minnesota
1870 Populations of Agriculture Census
1880 Clearwater, Wright Co., Minnesota
The 1880 Census has Selah and Lucinda's birth place as being New York same with both of thier parents.

I do not know where Selah or Lucinda is buried however Cynthia and Rosella are both buried at Clear Lake Cemetery with George Ring. Selah and Lucinda could possibly be buried there as well several of thier children are buried there as well.

There is a obit dated 2/24/1898 in the Sherburne County Times / Clear Lake Times for Lucinda Markham

I received information that Selah is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Clearwater, Minnesota. I am planning a trip down there in the next couple months to find the cemetery and see if I can find the headstones to take a couple pictures.
