"Hob", who was Roy Hobson I was my grandfather that i've never met. He died as a young man but is the father to three: Mary Louise, Roy Hobson II and John Paul. my uncle John Paul is the only surviving child and still lives in Lebanon. His children are John Alan, John Paul II, Marie, Robert, and Steven. Roy II (my father) children are Roy Hobson III, Jennifer, Charles Lewis, Richard, Frederick, and Kimberly. Roy's (my deceased brother) oldest daughter is trying to do research of the Mardis family as well.

Who was Charles Mardis' father or siblings? i'm hoping to find out found uncle john paul but it has been a few years since i last spoke with him. I've met some Mardis' in Campbellsville, KY where supposedly Charles came from. There is a distance ancester of Roland Mardis who supposed to have come thru the cumberland gap in 1803 that we all came from.....
