I am trying to gather information about my great great grandfather and his extended family. He went by Thomas or Thompson Marcum and was the son of Stephen S. Marcum and Sarah Hampton. He was born May 13, 1845 in Wayne County, WV and I have that he died Dec 19, 1919 in Martin County, KY but am not sure where I got the death information. Sarah Nancy Porter was born Nov 22, 1856 and died Nov. 21, 1902. Their son, Wayne Marcum, was my great grandfather and his son, Charles Ralph Marcum, is my grandfather.

I have traced the family back pretty far and am now more interested in the extended family which I have virtually no information on. Thomas/Thompson and Sarah Nancy's children were Callaway (b. Nov. 12, 1876), Mary (b. 1878), William (b. September 1879), Sarah (b. July 19, 1881), Taylor (b. Feb. 1, 1882), Elizabeth (b. June 13, 1886), John (b. June 1, 1887), Lace (b. April 3, 1888), Sadie (b. April 26, 1892), Wayne (b. March 15, 1895), Nannie (b. May 16, 1897) and Amanda (b. July 30, 1901). I am hoping to connect with relatives of those families. I am also very interested in any family pictures in that I have two pictures of Wayne Marcum and of no one else beyond him.
