I am searching for Andrew Mann who was born about 1860 in either North Carolina or Virginia. He appears in the US census for 1900 in Suffolk, VA as a single man, age 40, boarding with a family named Bullock. In 1910 he is in the Cypress District of Nansemond County, VA (just outside Suffolk) married to Essie with children Roy (or Ray) and Lillie. (Nora Essie Gardner was my great aunt.) The 1910 census notes that this was his second marriage. I have a marriage record showing that they married in Corapeake, NC (in Gates Co.) on October 16, 1904 and an article from the Washington Post dated October 17, 1904 saying that they had eloped.

About 1912-1913 he disappears from the record and Essie married another man.
I have been able to ascertain that he was not the Andrew Jackson Mann of Chatham Co., NC who was born about 1861 or the Andrew Mann from Roanoke in Charlotte Co., VA who was born about 1858.

Does anyone have an Andrew Mann that might fit this description?
