I could sure use your help right now. I am searching for a Giovanni Mangione from Scoglitti, Italy. Born about 1873. He immigrated to the US sometime in the early 1900's and settled in Auburn, NY. His wife, Anna Cannizzo came over a few years after he did along with their 4 daughters. It is rumored that he was a mayor in the town of Scoglitti, but I'm having a hard time finding anything on him prior to his arrival in the US. I have found several US census' for he and his family and every one lists a different year of arrival into the US, so I'm assuming he went back to Italy to visit several times?
