William is pictured in the Torque, yearbook of the 43-J training class of flight cadets at Pecos Army Air Field. He is a flight cadet in Squadron 10. I'm not kin but thought this might help someone researching the family.

Do you have any information on the Mandery family in Brooklyn, N.Y.? My Segelken line ties in with John and Mary Mandery. I would be happy to share this information with fellow Brooklyn Mandery family researchers in return for some helpful assistance in tracing the Mandery line in Germany.

Yes,my maiden name is Mandery, my father is William Gavin Mandery and my grandfather is William Francis Mandery. That's as far back as I got...We're in Calif. What about you?

My message from this time period is so very outdated.
My Manderys wound up in Nebraska; and since the original posting above I have found quite a bit of the tree. The
families settled in Nebraska and many around the state of Washington. Most of my answers came from Minnesota or surrounding areas..and my thanks to all of you whom responded. I have tried to collect all the trees; in hope of finding some interconnection as most all of our Manderys
came from the same area originally. My newest email is AuburnWildfire72@aol.com. Hope to hear from any of you.

My Mandery moved from Bavaria to Wisconsin (1840's) to Minnesota (1860's).

I have been researching the Mandery line in Cincinnati, OH, Hamilton County with no luck. My gr-grandmother was Elizabeth (Mandery)Hoeffer, husband Joseph. Her brother - John. Sisters: Anna Marie (Mandery) Wegmann, Rosa (Mandery) Schneider. Elizabeth's Parents: Jacob and Catherine (Schafer) Mandery. I located her in the 1900 Ohio census but not in the 1880 census. Hope someone can help. Thanks

Hi I think John Lee Mandery was a brother to Joseph Mandery who married Elizabeth Bion. They were my GGG Grandparents. My grandfather was Herbert Jerome Mandery, His parents were Emma Sherwoood and Lewis Mandery.I am sure they were relatted. I hve information i can send write me with your address. thank you. The 1920 census lists a Rose Nedved @ 2430 Winfield Ave., Berwyn, IL. She was a widow, age 58, born in Bohemia. She immigrated in 1880; was naturalized in 1889. Is this your Rose? I am not related, but have the census info. to send to you, if you would like it. Nedoba relatives lived in the same neighborhood.

Katherine Lui Aki Mandery, 75, of San Diego died Feb. 16. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii, and was a teacher for the San Diego Unified School District. Survivors include her husband, John Mandery; daughter, Katherine Mandery of San Francisco; sons, Peter Mandery, Daniel Mandery and John Mandery, all of San Diego; sisters, Amy Yap, Jennie Aki and Lilly Chow, all of Hilo, Hawaii, and Rosie Miyashiro of Honolulu; brothers, Henry Aki and Wallace Aki of Hilo, Hawaii, Alex Aki of San Antonio and William Aki of Odessa, Fla.; and six grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. Friday, St. Dunstan ' s Episcopal Church, 6556 Park Ridge Blvd., San Diego. Entombment: after services, at the church. Arrangements: Featheringill Mortuary. Published in the San Diego Union-Tribune on 2/25/2004. (volunteer submission)

Gosh I was feeling so alone LOL.
My Manderys are the family of John Lee Mandery.
He came from Germany. I have also looked at
your Mandery Bions..and have often wondered if we
could be related as there are Manderys there that
never quite all got found.

My John Lee Mandery..my great granddaddy...
married twice..once marrying a Kathryn Lehn..and later my
great grandmother..Rose H. Nedved..speaking of Nedved
they are almost nonexisitant.

I have an obituary of John Lee that I would like to email directly to you..See my email above and contact me if
you are interested..Im stuck in a rut for any further info back
on great granddad..
