I'm looking for info on this couple, he is the son of Alexis Gregoire -Catherine Cazaubon-Didier of St. Cuthbert,Joliette,Qc. area. I don't know who her parents were but she must have been raised around Joliette. Joseph Simon was born Feb.1810 and assuming she was younger than him, I estimate their marriage around 1825-35. His siblings married between 1827 and 1843 all in St.Cuthbert, Qc. and like them, they may have moved to the USA as his brother Joachim m. Emilie Plant ended in Ma., Gregoire G. m.Sophie Duteau ended in Illinois and their sister Catherine, (Katie Grayware) m. Peter Sylvestre ended in Vermont. any information on Julie and Simon and their descendants would be appreciated. I'm a descendant of his brother,Hercule Alexis m.
