Seeking information on this Maier line. The wife of William is unknown, however there were 2 children born in Germany; John on Dec 25, 1853 & George Apr 1854.
Granddaughter of John Maier said he came with parents to America as a young man and records indicate the year of 1868.
At some point in time the family moved to Franklin Co., AR.
They are not located in 1870 census.

Any help on finding William's ancestors would be appreicated.
