I am looking for information about the ancestry of my g-g-grandmother Emily. She was born about 1940 either in Canada or New York. Census records don't agree about whether she was born in New York or was born in Canada and immigrated about 1868. About 1864 she married Andrew Maher, probably in Vermont, and they had 5 children (4 born in VT between 1865 and 1877, the last born in NY about 1880): Joseph David, William, Mary, Nellie, and Edward.
