Surnames: Magbie, Magbee, Magby, McBee
Their were four men with the surname of Magbie who fought for the Union in the Civil War. They were all in the 1st regiment of the United States Colored Heavy Artillery. Possibly brothers. All are listed on the African-American Civil War Memorial in Washington. I have obtained the war records of all of them. Their names were Jack, Major, Adam, and Albert. If you want to check this out go to the Civil War Soldiers & Sailors System at http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/
