I recognize some family names, but they are misspelled.

My great grandparents are Edward Lloyd Macabee and Aurora Macabee.
Their kids were:

Now I am thinking that my grandfather's (Cedric Lloyd) twin died at birth. He married Katherine Jost and had two children: David Lloyd Macabee and Janice Katherine Macabee (my mother.)

Elaine Macabee married but did not have children.

I need to find out about Fabian.

Is there a way to change the misspellings in the records and add additional information?

I am very new to this obviously. Any help would be appriciated.

If you are a member of Ancestry, you can file a note with the records, which may be misspelled for a couple of reasons -- first, the census taker might have mis-heard and misspelled the names. Secondly, perhaps hir handwriting was hard to read, and the indexer mis-read it. In the second case, Ancestry will sometimes correct their index. In the first case, of course, nothing can be done beyond attaching a note to help other researcher-cousins find the correct record.

Also, by posting the correct information here and elsewhere (WorldConnect? a website?) you will be putting the facts out for all to see.

Where you see two versions of the names, it is because someone has already filed a note with some of the records.
